What better way to start the school holidays than with a picnic. We took a trip out to Mundaring Weir on Sunday to enjoy the bush and to remind ourselves that we still like each other (despite a long school term, hot weather and all the rest that goes with being a family).
It has been so long since Perth has had any decent rain, and the dam looked pitifully low. Let's hope we are in for a wet winter.
I am about to start a very long break from my job (fourteen weeks...but who's counting!) I am hoping to relax more and blog more.
And have a look at what is going on behind the scenes while I'm trying to take a fancy picnic shot...
